  3. Situation: As part of a larger attack your squad will 
  4. seize the FLS by gaining control of the hangar facility 
  5. at grid IN193999, east of the DZ (Drop Zone). 
  6.  
  7. ROE: Minimize damage to airfield and structure û intent 
  8. is to use facility as resupply point.
  9.  
  10. Mission: First squad seize the FLS by gaining control of 
  11. the hangar facility at grid IN193999.
  12.  
  13. Enemy: One squad-sized element of regular forces with 
  14. light weapons and machine guns.
  15.  
  16. Troops: One infantry squad of the 1st Battalion, 504th 
  17. Parachute Infantry Regiment, without advanced 
  18. marksmanship team or grenadier support.
  19.  
  20. Terrain: Field Landing Strip (FLS) located in slightly 
  21. forested area.  The FLS is well-lit area consisting of 
  22. one small hangar protected by two trench systems on 
  23. either side supported by bunkers.  Surrounding the FLS is 
  24. a fenced minefield.

  27. DEFENSE

  29. Situation: Your team is defending an FLS by preventing 
  30. capture of the hangar facility at grid IN193999. 
  31.  
  32. ROE: Minimize damage to airfield and structure û intent

  35. Mission: Alpha Team defends the FLS from defensive trench 
  36. and bunker positions at grid IN193999.

  38. Enemy: One squad-sized element of regular forces without

  41. Troops: One infantry fire team of the 3rd Battalion, 504
  42. th Parachute Infantry Regiment, without advanced 
  43. marksmanship team or grenadier support.
